Who is Eddy?
In February this year Natalia made the long anticipated leap of moving her home studio/workshop of nine years into a fresh new space in the heart of the Dromana industrial estate. Nestled inside a bright and sunny co-working building, the new space allowed for a small functional workshop with just enough extra room to house an intimate little consultation, showroom/retail nook.
To create a distinction between Natalia’s workshop and showroom, Eddy was born! The name Eddy sprouted from Natalia’s love of water, but the definition isn’t limited just to whirlpools, it can also be used to describe any spiralling current of energy running back, or in an opposite direction to the main current. A beautiful metaphor for the practice of hand crafting highly personal jewellery pieces as opposed to leaning in to trends and mass production.
Eddy showcases a small selection of Natalia’s hand made jewellery and small sculptures, alongside a carefully curated selection of vintage jewels, books, ceramics and objects.
Though Natalia’s opening hours are a little random, if the lights are on, you are warmly welcome to pop in to brows the shelves and have chat.
If you’re on a specific mission to purchase something special or perhaps you would like to discuss a possible custom commission in person, be sure to get in touch to make an appointment.
