Recent Commissions.

Despite the winter chill having well and truly settled in here on the Mornington Peninsula, there has been quite the steady pace of lovely commissions coming through the studio door, keeping my bench nice and warm.

Lots of working with sentimental stones, marking precious moments, and building deeply personal mementos. It has definitely been a busy time creating lots of highly personal forever pieces for some wonderful clients.

Here’s one to share with you..

This beautiful big amethyst was a loving and sentimental gift that my client hoped could be set into a pendant, despite its considerable size and awkward depth. We chatted back and forth discussing material, budget, scale and design, and slowly this 18ct yellow gold pendant on a 9ct yellow gold chain evolved. We wanted to make sure the stone was sufficiently protected from bumps and knocks, while still allowing plenty of light to bounce around, showing off its magical colour. We wanted to keep the design simple but still with its own unique character and softness.

“I absolutely love what you've done with it! It's perfect. Thank you so much for bringing it to life.”
